Western Australia is the largest state.  It also faces the Indian Ocean.

Gold was discovered in the 1880’s.  This state produces 70 percent of Australia’s gold.
Western Australia is home to the famous Wave Rock.  It looks like a huge wave.
The state's fisheries are a world supplier of lobster, prawns, and pearls.
Wheat, wool, beef and lamb are its main agricultural products.
There are over 270 mines in Western Australia that supply minerals such as diamonds, iron, and nickel.
Western Australia is one of the largest shipbuilding areas in country.
Most of the tourists that visit Western Australia come from Asia.
