Parent Volunteers
In the past, Buckley has been fortunate to have parents volunteer to help in the Library. We have a wonderful library that is constantly busy, and we could use some help. No experience is necessary, and there is plenty of work to be done. If you can spare an hour, or more, on a weekly basis, please give the librarian a call at 627-1910, extension 123.

Birthday Books The goal of the Birthday Book program is to give the children the experience of giving on their birthdays. In the Lower School, students will have the opportunity of presenting a gift of a book to the school during assembly on the last Friday of the each month. Upper School students are also encouraged to participate by bringing a birthday book directly to the library. Some Buckley families have also donated books to the Library to honor family members, or friends. In addition to the birthday bookplate added with the child's name, birth date, and year of the gift, the book will also be cataloged with a note field with the same information in the library online catalog.
